The first order of business in any practice session is to identify the parts of the swing that need to be addressed. This identification process begins with me taking videos from the down the line and face on viewpoints. After I take the videos, I explain to the student how the swing works by drawing lines on the iPad screen. The student is quickly able to see the differences for themselves. This is a huge head start in the improvement process. Using the videos along with still images greatly increases the speed of the learning process allowing the student to understand how to get better!
